Matthew Bennett is a Fellow of the College of Chiropractors and one of the first people registered with the General Chiropractic Council. He is the UK Director of Training for new graduates for the College of Chiropractors. Matthew qualified from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth in 1987.

He has appeared extensively in the national press, on television and radio as a spokesman for the British Chiropractic Association. He has written for Men's Fitness magazine. He lectures to the chiropractic profession on business management, foot biomechanics, orthotics and related ski problems. In the winter months he works with ski schools, boot fitters and chiropractors training them in Ski Ergonomics. He has also worked with members of the British ski team.

He has 20 years experience treating children and a special interest in the symptoms of Developmental Delay Syndrome which include dyslexia, dyspraxia, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders. He is part of a national group of chiropractic neurologists at the forefront of using the latest discoveries in the field in neural sciences helping to understand this condition.

Sport is important to him having competed at a county junior level on the track and for local rugby teams in the past. Having skied since was six he is a keen skier and regularly goes on off-piste and back-country training courses. He maintains his fitness by cycling every week throughout the year and playing tennis.

He is married with a 5 year old son and lives in Partridge Green, West Sussex.
